Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Khoshroz Group mobile app uses, why, and the choices you have. In short: the app has no accounts, shows no ads and does not track you. Your Bag stays on your phone, and order details are only sent when you tap the button to send your order.

Who we are

The Khoshroz Group app (“the app”) is provided by Khoshroz Kitab Mahal Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh (“we”, “us”). The app is published on Google Play and the Apple App Store by NDC Holding LLC, 475 Hickory Street, Buffalo, NY 14204, USA, on our behalf.

Information stored only on your phone

• Your Bag: the books you add are saved on your device so they are still there when you reopen the app.
• Language choice: whether you use Bangla or English.

This information never leaves your phone unless you send an order. Deleting the app removes it.

Information you send us when you order

When you tap the button to send your order, the books in your Bag and the details you type into the order form (your name, phone number, delivery address, payment choice and any note) are sent securely (encrypted, over HTTPS) to Khoshroz’s own order system, so our team can see and track your order. The app then opens WhatsApp with the same order and an order number; that message is only sent when you press send in WhatsApp. Nothing is sent before you tap the order button.

We use these details only to confirm your order, arrange payment and delivery, and contact you about that order. Only Khoshroz staff with an admin login can see them, and they are never shared with advertisers or sold. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp LLC (Meta), and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.

Calls, emails and links

If you tap a phone number, email address or WhatsApp button, the app opens your phone’s own calling, email or WhatsApp app. Anything you then share with us is used only to answer you.

What the app does not do

• It does not require an account or a login.
• It does not show advertising.
• It does not use advertising or tracking tools, and it does not sell or rent your information.
• It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

How long we keep order information

We keep order details and messages only as long as needed to complete the order, handle questions or returns, and meet legal or accounting duties. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can clear your Bag in the app or delete the app at any time. To see, correct or delete information you have sent us, contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we can.

Children

The app is a general bookstore and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information, such as card numbers or passwords, through WhatsApp.

Changes to this policy

If we add new features, such as accounts or eBooks, we will update this policy before those features go live and change the effective date above.
